Pilot program

Measure first. Decide after.

A Buscolaire pilot brings together a school service centre or school, an operator and 3 to 10 buses for 60 to 90 days. The scope adapts to your situation and to our agreements.

Five stages

How a pilot unfolds

Each stage has its deliverables. We move to the next one only when partners have validated the previous one.

  1. 1

    Prepare

Agreements, data-flow mapping and PIA. Import of approved stops, routes, students, guardians, vehicles and permissions into a test environment.

  2. 2

    Connect

Verification of the authorized GPS feed, device-to-vehicle mapping and timestamp checks. Testing of email and notification recipients.

  3. 3

    Operate

Real runs activated for a limited group of participants, with support runbooks and escalation contacts everyone knows.

  4. 4

    Measure

Estimated versus actual arrival, notice delivery time, incident resolution, route adherence, support calls and user feedback.

  5. 5

    Decide

A documented review: before-and-after findings, remaining constraints and possible next steps. No benefit is claimed without data to show it.

Who does what

A successful pilot is teamwork, with responsibilities in writing.

Partners

  • Name a lead person in each organization
  • Provide the authorized stops, routes and lists
  • Authorize access to their vehicles' GPS feed
  • Invite participating parents and drivers
  • Share findings and feedback

Buscolaire

  • Completes the PIA and documents data flows
  • Configures organizations, roles and integrations
  • Trains teams and provides French and English guides
  • Provides support throughout the pilot
  • Produces the measurements and the final report

Data, before, during and after

No real data is processed until the PIA and the agreement are complete. During the pilot, access is limited to authorized participants. At the end, data is deleted or de-identified according to the agreed retention rules.

Commercial terms are discussed with each partner based on their needs; no pricing is set in advance on this site.
